Michael C. Macchiarola
A trusted advisor to credit unions across the country, Mike is a seasoned transactional attorney and financial structurer, with significant experience in law and academia. As the CEO of Olden Lane Inc., he oversees the firm’s activities and manages its client relationships, having crafted some of the movement’s largest and most complex transactions over the last several years.
Prior to joining Olden Lane, Mike was a Managing Director at Equinox Financial Solutions. Mike also served as a Distinguished Lecturer at City University of New York, teaching at both the CUNY Law School and Queens College. Prior to his time as a professor, he was a Special Counsel at Cadwalader, representing broker-dealers, banks and hedge funds. Mike began his financial services career as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he traded equities, derivatives, and synthetics.
Mike earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law, his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, and his A.B. from College of The Holy Cross. He has been an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School and St. Francis College. Mike is a regular contributor to credit union trade journals and at industry conferences. His academic writings have been published in some of the country’s leading legal and business journals, including the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, University of Pennsylvania Law Review, University of Virginia Law and Business Review, and the Yale Journal on Regulation. Mike holds Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 52, 53, 55, 63 and 79 licenses.

Daniel Prezioso
As an expert in the movement, Dan’s advice and counsel is sought after by many of the country’s leading credit unions. Trained as a transactional attorney, Dan brings significant experience on a wide range of financial products and investment vehicles. He is deeply involved in Olden Lane’s subordinated debt efforts, overseeing the preparation of regulatory submissions for the Firm’s clients. Dan oversees many of Olden Lane’s external relationships and its interactions with regulators. He is also responsible for several of Olden Lane’s new ventures, including ongoing efforts to provide credit unions with highly customized assets and selective Fintech solutions.
Prior to joining Olden Lane, Dan was the Associate General Counsel at the Equinox Financial Group in Princeton, New Jersey, where he provided the primary legal coverage for the firm’s registered investment adviser and affiliated broker dealer and oversaw the legal and compliance needs of mutual funds and commodity pools.
Prior to joining Equinox, Dan was an associate in the world-renowned Structured Products and Derivatives Group at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where he worked extensively with structured notes and drafted a wide variety of trading and financing related documentation.
Dan received his J.D. magna cum laude from Seton Hall Law School and his B.A. cum laude from the University of Maryland. He holds the Series 3 and 7 licenses.

Mike Kochmann
Mike oversees the firm’s operations, and its financial models. Mike’s expertise is sought after by credit unions on issues ranging from balance sheet and funding strategies to risk-based capital, merger and acquisition financing, and CFDI and LICU designation. His analysis and collaboration with credit unions has been foundational to some of the most significant funding and merger and acquisition activities in the credit union movement over the past several years.
Prior to founding Olden Lane, Mike was a Director at BlackRock, where he oversaw the establishment and maintenance of proprietary portfolios. He also served as Managing Director and Head of Unit Investment Trusts for Citigroup/Citi Smith Barney for more than ten years. In this role, he led strategic planning, operations, sales, marketing, investment management, and risk management for the organization’s Unit Investment Trust Department. Mike also coordinated UIT distribution through a global broker/dealer network. Mike spent twenty years with Merrill Lynch, ultimately serving as Director and Head of Sales and Secondary Market, where he led the strategic planning, development, marketing, and sales throughout the global Merrill Lynch organization.
Mike attended the State University of New York at Plattsburg, where he was an Economics major.

Larry Rascio
Larry is the Head of Fixed Income Trading at Olden Lane. Before joining Olden Lane, Larry was the Head of Trading at Arq Advisors, a boutique brokerage firm offering advisory, investment banking, capital raising, and securities trading services to institutional clients. Larry joined Arq from XP Investments, where he served as a Managing Director and Co-Head of the US Fixed Income and Asset Management Divisions.
Prior to his tenure at XP, Larry was a Co-Founding Principal and Portfolio Manager for STRM Capital Management, LLC, a commodity trading advisor. There, he served as Head of Trading and Lead Developer overseeing all front-office functions including execution, portfolio construction, platform optimization, and model design for a systematic managed futures fund. During his time at STRM Capital, Larry developed and executed a clear, disciplined, and sustainable investment process for the firm’s short-term multi-model systemic and blended portfolios.
Larry earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry, with a special focus on genome mapping, from Syracuse University in 1994. He holds the Series 7, 63, and 3 designations.

Eli Krahn
A member of the Olden Lane team since 2021, Eli has primary responsibility for the design and improvement of the firm’s financial models. Over the past several years, he has captained the firm’s valuation services efforts – improving the team’s capabilities and capturing a growing share of the market. He also assists the senior team members with business development initiatives and other daily business activities.
Most recently, Eli led an Olden Lane team that provided advice to Frontwave Credit Union in connection with the first ever purchase and assumption of a California bank by a credit union.
Before joining Olden Lane, Eli interned in various roles within the private equity and investment banking space. Eli received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Princeton University, where he graduated with Honors with a degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and a minor in Finance. A native of Minnesota, in 2023, Eli was nominated by Olden Lane clients for a Credit Union Times Luminaries Award as a “Rising Star.”

Paul Kellam
Paul is a member of Olden Lane’s financial modeling team, with responsibility for some of Olden Lane’s most complex subordinated debt models. As a member of the deal team on many of the firm’s highest profile transactions, Paul interacts with clients and industry experts to coordinate some of the most complex deals in the credit union space. He also works on the valuation models related to the firm’s merger activities.
Paul graduated with a B.A. from Boston College, where he majored in Economics, with a Finance minor. He previously worked as a Trader at BetMGM, where he adjusted sportsbook prices.

Dipanshu Maheshwari
Dipanshu is one of the newest members of Olden Lane’s financial modeling team, having joined the firm in February 2024. Dip has been responsible for some of the system developments related to Olden Lane’s burgeoning M&A business. He graduated with an M.S. degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Buffalo in 2023 and has also earned his CFA credential from the CFA Institute. Prior to his post-graduate studies, he previously worked professionally at industrial engineering roles in the manufacturing sector.

Ryan Marquardt
The newest member of the Olden Lane team, Ryan joined the firm in September 2025. Ryan provides day-to-day support for the firm’s subordinated debt, mergers and acquisitions and valuation services practices. Ryan graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics and Sports Business.

Neel Ghose
Neel joined Olden Lane in 2025, bringing a wealth of experience from his previous roles. He first interned with the company during the summers of 2019 and 2020, gaining valuable insights into the industry.
Neel graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2021 with a degree in History and a minor in Business. Prior to returning to Olden Lane, he worked at Hazeltree Fund Services in Manhattan, where he gained expertise in the Fintech sector.
His unique combination of historical knowledge, business acumen, and financial services experience positions him as a strong asset to the team.
